It’s paraben free, aluminum free and it is all natural and organic. It is made with organic coconut oil and essential oils that are healthy for your body versus filling you with toxins and aluminum. I've used Primal Pit Paste and a similar homemade concoction. Both worked extremely well to prevent odor, but both also led to painful armpit cysts that cleared up within a week of discontinuing product use. Baking soda alone has reduced but similar effects both in terms of odor prevention and cysts.
Without the baking soda the rest of the ingredients aren't nearly as effective. A healthy diet and frequent exercise mitigates, but doesn't altogether eliminate, my arm pit smell. Other 'healthy' deodorant products (like potassium alum) aren't very effective.
Any idea what else I might use? Or any way to mitigate the cyst formation, besides limiting the deodorant use to special occasions only?
Interesting, I have also tried using the Weleda brand which is a spray and may help?
