Do you ever beat yourself up because you didn’t have enough willpower to say no to the chocolate cake?

Or do you find yourself saving your calories until the end of the day when that office party rolls around?

Then you can reward yourself with whatever you want to eat and drink, thinking as long as you’re under your 1500 calories for the day, you’re good.

What if I told you that you don’t need to exert a lot of willpower or count calories at all? Imagine how freeing that would feel. No more guilt, no more shame, no more obsessing about a number!

Your body is beautifully designed to ask for what it needs to reach homeostasis, which means having internal stability. Since your body can’t ask with words, it asks with cravings and hunger. When your body is hungry, it wants nutrients, not calories. Let me say that again…

That’s why exerting willpower and counting calories backfires eventually. REAL food is your body’s fuel. When your body is not being fueled well throughout the day, it’s going to keep asking for the right fuel. If you save up all day so that you can eat whatever you want at the party and stay within a certain calorie limit, your body is going to keep asking you for the nutrients it needs.

It’ll ask through hunger and cravings over and over again. This becomes a vicious circle,. You‘ll feel like a complete failure who should have enough willpower NOT to eat that 8th cookie!

When you learn to tune in to your body and give it the fuel it needs throughout the day—which I‘ll teach you how to do—you won’t experience cravings, and you won‘t need to rely on willpower and counting calories to make it through the day.
