The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting colder and this time of year makes me want to eat more warming foods – like soups! Soups can be very comforting in the colder months and also very healing. As many Grandmother’s will tell you “chicken soup can cure a cold!” The key is using homemade chicken or bone broths in your soups so you get the added bonus of minerals and if made properly therapeutic gelatin. Learn to make broths and more about their amazing healing benefits in this article by Sally Fallon called Broth is Beautiful. Try making your own bone broth and then use it to make this delicious soup!
