I have a new favorite smoothie!  I love how rich and creamy it is and my son asks me if I put ice cream in it he loves it so much!  I love it because I know I am getting rich probiotics, antioxidants, healthy fats and fiber.  I add an egg yolk to this recipe from a local farm to get good fats and Vitamins A and D too!

This recipe is excerpted from the 14-Day Get REAL with Your Cleanse I just did and that I have shared with you over the past week and now I can’t get enough of this smoothie drink!

ENJOY:

Amasai Berry Smoothie
Yields: 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 Cup fresh or frozen berries {blueberries, blackberries, strawberries or raspberries}
1/2 banana
1Tbsp. raw honey {If absolutely needed but try to train your taste buds to get used to less sweetness!}
Directions:  Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Add water to thin if needed.
Allergen info:  Free of Added Processed Sugar, A1 Casein, Corn, Eggs, Gluten, Peanuts and Soy
Comments:
 It’s great to rotate the kind of berries you use every day or two to get different nutrients. I also love to make mango and peach!
 Chia seeds do not need to be ground.
 Your kiddos will love it so make extra for yourself!

What is Amasai? – a cultured dairy drink (created by Jordan Rubin, author of Maker’s Diet and Garden of Life Founder) with over 60 probiotics that is easy-to-digest and only has A2 Casein rather than the inflammatory A1 Casein in most store bought dairy which is what causes many issues with digesting dairy.  The cows graze only on grass and greens and never get grains and this is true whole milk filled with healthy fats, fat soluble vitamins and good protein.  Other flavors are available that have some added sugar – I like the plain and then you can always add some raw honey for sweetness.  Many people like the flavors for their kids!
