2. Always bring a list! Try to stick to the list as much as possible. Meal planning in advance is recommended – See my Meal Plan Guide HERE
3. Shop the perimeter of the grocery store. This is where the REAL food is and the food with the most nutrition.
4. When given the choice over buying food in cans, plastic or glass, always choose glass. Foods absorb chemicals found in can linings and plastics. If you buy food in cans then try to find BPA-Free.
5. Consider buying larger quantities of certain food items and cooking large batches of food once per week and then freezing items. Also consider storing food in either wax paper bags or glass pyrex dishes. They‘re inexpensive and better for us and the environment.
